About Mary

Music was an important part of my life growing up. Playing piano gave me joy and confidence. In performances and later on in competitions, it showed me how far I could go if I would put in the work, and brought me a sense of pride and fulfillment. When I teach today, I love to see the magic that music plays in my students’ lives. Whether it be a sense of accomplishment a student has when something clicks for them or the excitement of learning a piece that they love (and maybe even performing it in front of an audience!), teaching is my passion and I feel honored to help my students in their own musical journey.
